Santa Claus is Coming to Town

I love this time of year. Sorry – some of you may well read this months after I posted it – I mean November. Not only because it’s the month in which I celebrate my birthday, but because November is the month when marketing people really start pushing the Christmas boat out.

And with Christmas comes Santa.

Now for any young believers out there, the real Santa Claus is so busy making all the toys for the good girls and boys that he barely has any time at all to get into the studio and record voice overs. So he recruits people like me as his special helpers to make sure his voice is heard all over the world.

So far, my version of his voice has been heard in a UK shopping centre, a radio station in Tennessee and a website all about a cooking show set in a trailer park! That last one is my personal favourite, and you can watch it here:

I’m sure there’ll be much more from Santa in the week’s ahead and for all the parents out there, Santa has given me special permission to call your children in his voice to ask them what they would like for Christmas. You can do that by clicking on this link:

And, because once again I have no idea when you’re reading this, have a very happy ‘insert name of most relevant non denominational festival, because we don’t want to upset anyone do we?’
